Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has received a considerable amount of post-launch content since its launch in 2020, including two expansions that take place in large open world environments that are not seen in the base game. For your last, Dawn of Ragnarok, Ubisoft has done everything possible to create the largest so far. But how wide exactly? Well, we are here with another of our maps measurement items to answer exactly How big is the map of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Dawn of Ragnarok.
How big is the size of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Dawn of Ragnarok
Dawn of Ragnarok takes place in the fictitious land of Svartalfheim, one of the nine kingdoms of Nordic mythology. And as expected, it is a fantasy environment in the truest sense, with all kinds of strange geography and unusual points of reference. In particular, it has much more verticality than the open world areas of the base game, which in turn is added to its scale and size.
However, in terms of ground area, we are using the same forever formula: take a rectangular measure and multiply the length / width to get a very approximate area to the square. Fortunately, it is nice and easy by the fact that SVARTALFHEIM has a more or less rectangular shape anyway.
As you can see in the image above, SVARTALFHEIM has about 4,500 meters long and 6,000 meters wide, which means that its total size is 27 kilometers2 or 10.4 miles2 .
If you wonder how your size is compared with the different sections of the main game, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s England had approximately 40mi2, which makes Svartalfheim be around 25% of the size of the main game. If you played Wrath of the Druids and remember Ireland, that area is approximately comparable to 7 miles2. You can check our detailed article on the sizes of all areas of Valhalla here.
